Mariani is a family-owned food brand with more than a century of history and a packaging identity strongly associated with its familiar yellow bag. I’ve led the ongoing evolution of the brand across roughly 50 SKUs, balancing established brand equity with consumer research, business priorities and the need for clearer, more contemporary communication at shelf. The work extends across core packaging, new products, retail programs and campaign imagery. My role spans creative direction and hands-on design through production, partnering closely with company leadership, marketing, sales, packaging and operations.
RH's gallery graphics were deliberately understated. Producing them across a growing national retail network was considerably more complex. I managed environmental graphics and signage for multiple gallery openings simultaneously, while developing programs for future locations and existing-store updates. Projects moved from architectural plans and site surveys through design, estimating, vendor coordination, fabrication and installation, often against fixed opening dates. Working across architecture, construction, visual merchandising and outside vendors, I also restructured the exterior signage program, helping reduce costs from more than $200K to approximately $40K while maintaining the intended design and material standards.
At Hasbro's Cap Candy division, I worked across a high-volume pipeline of licensed and proprietary toy-and-candy products, from concept development through packaging and retail. Projects spanned major properties including Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney and Marvel, each with its own audience, brand standards and approval process. Working with marketing, product development, engineering and licensing partners, I helped move ideas from concept to shelf. The Harry Potter candy line generated more than $15 million over three years.
